travel site re-brand

This brief was designed to bringing back the authenticity of traveling and provide a fresh new feel through design, that gives a sense of enjoyment and excitement to entice viewers too read on.

 

When carrying out research I found that a large majority of travel websites although filled with useful information, were aesthetically unpleasing following a basic website template layout filled with stock photographs, giving a corporate feel. 

 

I chose to rebrand the website for the blog ‘Ordinary traveler’. Feedback suggested travel blogs are preferred to websites as they provide realistic information and tips as well as a friendlier tone of voice something that my illustrations work to compliment.  

SOCIAL MEDIA 

Brand displayed on social media. 

On Instagram, posts will use a shape outline to frame the photograph and keep consistent with the brands theme. This making the page stand out from the typical square images amongst peoples feed, bringing attention to the brand.
